Venomologist Bryan Grieg Fry has one of the most dangerous jobs on Earth: He works with its deadliest creatures. He’s been bitten by 26 venomous snakes, been stung by three stingrays, and survived a near-fatal scorpion sting while deep in the Amazon jungle. I would like to take you on a journey. It’s going to be a journey across many oceans, over a lot of water but very much a journey of the human spirit. This is not a sailing story. It’s much more than that. My seven crew and I participated in the fatal 1998 Sydney to Hobart yacht race in which 6 men tragically died, 55 were rescued and a number of boats sank. On our boat, for 15 hours, we thought that we had found out how we were going to die. By a slim margin, we managed to survive that incredible cornerstone event in each of our lives.

In April 2019 after fishing for 40 years, Capt. Wild Bill sat down and wrote Fishing Gods. He takes you from the moment he was born on a boat in Port Aransas, Texas, to all of his fishing adventures explaining how he learned to conquer fishing until the day he ultimately transformed into a Fishing God.
