I was born and broken in Birkenhead, abused from infancy by a network of every kind of pervert from ‘thinks it’s love’ to ‘show it hurts’. I was unwanted, beaten, sold, swapped, photographed, filmed, left for dead, corrupted, blamed, betrayed, ignored and orphaned.

I didn’t want to put 5 stars for the ‘story’ as the story is one which should never have had to been told. The failure of those who should love and protect, is heartbreaking.
This book needs to be read and also needs never to have to be told again. Shy is one helluva brave, resilient and courageous person. Good be with you.
