  • Holiday Grief
    Oct 28 2026

The holidays can be magical, messy, and a little bittersweet. Sometimes, they bring up feelings we didn't even realize we were carrying.

In this episode, we're talking about grief and the holidays, and why this time of year can bring so much to the surface. And we're not just talking about grief after losing someone we love. We're talking about missing the people who aren't here anymore, the people who are still here but no longer part of our lives, the childhood holidays we can never get back, and the seasons of motherhood that seem to pass way too quickly.

From the empty chair at the table to the traditions that look different now, we're getting into the complicated feelings that can come with a season that tells us we're supposed to be happy. Because sometimes, the holidays hold joy and sadness, gratitude and longing, all at the same time.

    We're talking about:

    • Why grief can feel especially heavy during the holidays

    • Missing people, relationships, and versions of life that have changed

    • The memories, music, recipes, and traditions that bring it all back

    • The bittersweet reality of watching our kids grow up and realizing we're living the good old days

    • Navigating changing family dynamics, estrangement, divorce, and traditions that no longer look the same

    • Letting ourselves feel the hard stuff without feeling guilty for the good stuff, too

Grief is often the price we pay for loving deeply. And maybe the goal isn't to avoid the sadness or recreate the holidays exactly as they used to be, but to make room for what we're missing while still embracing what we have.

As always, we're here for the messy middle, the big feelings, and the reminder that even when the holidays don't look the way they used to, you can still find moments of magic in them.

In case no one's told you today, you handled that perfectly. 💖

  • Midlife Crisis
    Sep 30 2026

What if a midlife crisis isn't really a crisis at all?

In this episode, we're talking about the reality of midlife and why the experience is often very different for women than it is for men. While both tend to experience major life shifts around ages 47-48, women often aren't trying to relive their younger years - they're finally stepping into themselves.

We discuss the impact of hormones, confidence, identity, relationships, careers, and why so many women reach a point where they're no longer willing to stay small, settle for less, or tolerate what isn't serving them.

Because maybe this chapter isn't about falling apart. Maybe it's about finally putting yourself back together.

    In this episode:
    • What defines a midlife crisis
    • How men and women experience midlife differently
    • The role of perimenopause and andropause
    • Why confidence often grows during midlife
    • Setting boundaries and leaving behind what no longer serves you
    • Prioritizing yourself without guilt
    • Wanting more from your relationships, career, and life
    • Kelly's unexpected craving for colorful hair, tattoos, and another piercing

The second half of your life doesn't have to look like the first. In many ways, it can be even better.

Remember: handling it perfectly isn't about being perfect.

  • Social Media, Part 2
    Sep 16 2026

When did social media become our doctor?

In Part 2 of our Social Media series, we're exploring how Instagram and TikTok have transformed the way women think about health, wellness, hormones, and body image.

We discuss why relatable influencers often feel more trustworthy than experts, how algorithms amplify our insecurities, and why it can suddenly feel like every symptom needs a diagnosis after just a few minutes of scrolling.

At the same time, we recognize the positive side of social media. It's opened conversations about perimenopause, women's hormones, ADHD, mental health, and strength training that many of us weren't hearing anywhere else.

The challenge isn't avoiding social media altogether. It's learning to recognize when we're being educated... and when we're simply being influenced.

    In this episode:
    • The rise of health advice on social media
    • Body image, wellness culture, and comparison
    • The explosion of supplements and health trends
    • Hormone awareness versus hormone anxiety
    • How algorithms reinforce our fears
    • Confirmation bias and wellness rabbit holes
    • The benefits of online health communities
    • Becoming a more intentional consumer of health content

    Questions we explore:
    • Have you ever bought a supplement because everyone online seemed to be taking it?
    • Has social media ever made you worry about a symptom you hadn't thought twice about before?
    • Which health creators leave you feeling empowered... and which leave you feeling like you're constantly falling short?

The more aware we become of what we're consuming, the more intentional we can be about what we believe and what we leave behind.

Remember: handling it perfectly isn't about being perfect.

  • Social Media, Part 1
    Sep 2 2026

Social media doesn't just influence our shopping carts. It influences our expectations.

In Part 1 of our Social Media series, we're exploring how the content we consume every day can quietly shape the way we view our friendships, marriages, parenting, and even ourselves.

From viral relationship advice to parenting trends and endless messages about what we "should" be doing, we discuss how repeated exposure can begin to feel like absolute truth, even when it isn't.

We also dive into the growing trend of gray divorce and ask an important question: if we're constantly consuming content about relationships, boundaries, and self-worth, how do we know which beliefs are genuinely ours?

    In this episode:
    • How social media influences our closest relationships
    • Friendship expectations in the age of viral content
    • Why algorithms reinforce the same messages repeatedly
    • The pressure of online parenting and relationship advice
    • Understanding the rise of gray divorce
    • Inspiration versus influence
    • How to recognize whether your standards are truly your own

    Questions we explore:
    • Have you ever seen something online that changed how you viewed a relationship?
    • Which accounts leave you feeling encouraged... and which leave you feeling like you're falling short?
    • How do you know when you're being inspired versus subtly influenced?

Sometimes awareness is the first step. Once we recognize the influence, we get to decide what beliefs we actually want to keep.
