    One of the biggest challenges people run into is this. If weight loss has always been the goal, what happens when the weight is coming off? What’s the new driver? What’s the incentive to keep showing up?


    This is where the shift happens.


    In this episode, we talk about redefining how you see yourself, not just as someone trying to lose weight, but as someone who is building a lifestyle. Because the way you see yourself drives everything. Your habits, your actions, your consistency.


    We also break down the difference between what’s being driven by the medication and what’s being driven by your own choices. Both exist, and learning how to navigate that is key.


    This isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about building something you can actually live with long term. Appreciating where you are, and then deciding how you want to show up moving forward.

    I don’t think enough people are talking about the unique challenges that come with being in this “in-between” phase.


    You’ve already changed your life in major ways, but you’re also trying to figure out what happens next.


    Do you keep pushing forward? Slow down? Take a break? Focus on maintenance? Reassess your goals completely?


    This stage of the journey can feel emotionally complicated because you’re balancing success, uncertainty, identity shifts, future goals, and the fear of losing the progress you’ve already made.


    In this episode, I talk about the mental tug of war that can happen during long-term weight loss, why “just keep doing the same thing” is not always the full answer, and why checking in with yourself beyond the scale matters so much.
