The Backup Drive — Fexingo Horror

A laptop hums in a dim home office. The external drive's red LED pulses like a heartbeat. Inside: thousands of unsorted folders, each a life. Luna opens them one by one — not to restore data, but to listen to what was buried. The Backup Drive is an anthology of digital excavation: corrupted JPEGs that still move, audio files that loop a single scream, spreadsheets that predict your death, and forgotten chat logs from a conversation that never ended. Each episode is a self-contained story of data that should have stayed lost — a found-footage horror for the age of external storage. Luna's voice is the only source of light in this room, reading from files that seem to read back. Here, the hard drive is a graveyard, and everything can be recovered. Open the folder. • The Night the Phones Died on Burkitt Road
    May 25 2026
In October 2009, the landlines in a four-block stretch of Burkitt Road, outside Demopolis, Alabama, started ringing at exactly 3:17 a.m. — and never stopped. Luna had a cousin who lived there, a woman named Cora who kept a landline 'for emergencies.' When Luna stayed over one sleepless weekend, she learned that the calls weren't from the phone company. They weren't from anyone living. The voice on the other end was always the same: a child asking for its mother. But the address it gave — 1428 Burkitt Road — didn't exist. And the calls were getting closer. A quiet, slow-burn episode about the difference between a wrong number and a wrong world. Recorded on a flip phone in a dark kitchen at 3:17 a.m. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #LunaNarrates #SoloHorror #TheBackupDrive #BurkittRoad #DemopolisAlabama #LandlineHorror #WrongNumber #3amCalls #CoraBurkett #October2009 #TelephoneHorror #SmallTownHorror #SignalHorror #CandlelightTales #MidnightConfessions #UnansweredCalls Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

  • The Night the Rain Stopped on Sulphur Well Road
    May 24 2026
It was late October in the town of Marlow, Oklahoma, a place so small the gas station closes at nine. I was driving home from a funeral, taking Sulphur Well Road like I always did, when the rain just... stopped. Not tapered off. Not faded. Stopped, like someone turned off a faucet. The road ahead was bone-dry, but behind me the asphalt was still wet. My headlights caught something up ahead: a woman in a blue dress, standing at the edge of the gravel, not moving. She was soaking wet, even though the rain had stopped a mile back. I pulled over because that's what you do when you see someone stranded at night on a road with no houses. I rolled down the window, and she didn't look at me. She just pointed down the road and said, 'He's still out there.' I asked who. She said, 'The man with the tire iron. Don't stop for him.' Then she walked into the ditch and disappeared into the tall grass. I didn't see where she went. I drove on, fast, and about half a mile later I saw a figure standing by a pickup truck with its hood up. A man, waving a flashlight. He had a tire iron in his other hand. I did not stop. I drove past, and in my rearview mirror I saw him lower the flashlight and just watch me go. The next day, I found out there was no woman matching that description in Marlow. But there was a man found dead on Sulphur Well Road three years ago — bludgeoned with a tire iron. The woman who killed him was never caught. She was last seen walking into the grass along that same stretch of road. The police report said she was wearing a blue dress. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #SulphurWellRoad #MarlowOklahoma #BlueDress #TireIron #LateOctober #FuneralDrive #GhostStory #RoadsideHorror #TheWomanInTheDitch #PenderCounty #TheBackupDrive #StandaloneEpisode #Atmospheric #SlowBurn #TrueCrimeAdjacent #UrbanLegend Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

  • The Night Surveyor of Old Stage Road
    May 23 2026
A surveyor mapping a forgotten dirt road in Pender County keeps finding dead animals arranged in a straight line across the pavement. Each night the line grows longer. When she follows it into the woods, she finds a house that shouldn't be there, with a light in the window and something waiting on the porch. No one in town will talk about Old Stage Road. The county map doesn't show it. But the survey data says it's been measured every night for sixty years. #OldStageRoad #PenderCounty #NightSurveyor #DeadAnimals #UnmappedRoad #HouseInTheWoods #PorchLight #SurveyData #LunaStory #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurn #RuralHorror #NightmareFuel #StandaloneEpisode #WhisperedConfession #NoJumpScare Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
