All sumo wrestlers deal with injury. But when you're at the top, the pressure to get back in the ring and win is enormous. Both yokozuna, Onosato and Hoshoryu, feel that pressure. Onosato's tears after his last yusho illustrate that pressure. Hoshoryu's apologies also show the pressure he's under.

So, we looked at earlier yokozuna, especially the ones that "under performed." The ones who dealt with injury. What was demanded of them? How did they fare? How much time were they afforded before they were "encouraged" to retire? Realistically, how much time does Hoshoryu have to get back into fighting shape?

The thrill of close competition. The way it all came down to the final match. The emotions of it all.

We start by reading a little something from our Sumo BINGO winners. And, then we get right to each day's sumo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. Did we like the basho? Of course we did.
