    Tyler Devault had a University of Maryland criminal justice degree, a government-contractor job, and a clean record. He also had a 14-year-old girl's number. He was 33. When the "girl" told him her age, he balked: "That's way too young." Then he kept talking. He asked three separate times whether Chris Hansen would be there. He joked about being "set up" and about getting "caught." Then he picked up a pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese, and drove to a house in Harford County, Maryland. He walked in, asked if he should take his shoes off, set the pizza down, and opened his arms for a hug. "Oh, I knew it," he said when Chris appeared. He had seen the shows and knew exactly how this ended. Asked why he came, all he had was "a little stupid person in the back of my head saying, just see what happens." Devault pleaded guilty and got ten years, with one year already served, followed by five years of probation and sex offender registration in Maryland. Instead, he drove to a house in the Louisiana countryside to meet a “15-year-old girl.” He was married, with kids aged nine and two. He barged through the door before the decoy could finish opening it, then asked if he should take his shoes off. Then Chris told him to have a seat. Daigle couldn’t remember her name, only her age. He said he came to “hang out” and that he “wasn’t going to go that far.” When the lies ran out, he admitted he had a feeling it was a sting. He came anyway. He pleaded guilty and got five years in a Louisiana prison, then probation and sex offender registration. In the chat he asked if she was a cop, then came anyway. In this episode of Predators I've Caught, Chris takes you inside a May 2026 sting with the Martin County, Florida Sheriff's Office. Jean walked into the house carrying a loaded .40-caliber Glock. When Chris told him not to leave, he bolted. Deputies took him down and found the pistol. Outside, his cousin's trunk held two more handguns and two assault-style rifles, loaded. Jean says he "forgot" the gun was in his pocket and that he would have "felt guilty." And on June 2, 2026, Ashay Shakes was on a hookup app, telling a "15-year-old boy" he was 29 and asking him to get in an Uber. In this episode of Predators I've Caught, Chris Hansen returns to a six-day sting in Marion County, Florida, where 58 men surfaced. Shakes was told the boy's age twice. He sent a picture of himself in his underwear, gave his address, and pressed the "boy" to come right away. When he walked outside to meet the Uber, detectives were waiting. In the interrogation room, Shakes says it was a setup and insists, "I'm not a predator." Chris answers with the chat logs. Shakes pleaded guilty and got four years in the Florida prison system.
