The Phoenix Mercury finally got one.

After six straight losses, Phoenix escaped Seattle with a 72-68 win over the Storm in a game that was anything but pretty. Natasha Mack turned in one of her best performances of the season, the Mercury defended at a high level for most of the night, and Phoenix finally found a way to close out a game.

The Phoenix Mercury have now lost five straight games and sit at 2-7 after another loss to the New York Liberty. The frustrating part? Phoenix did a lot of things well enough to win.
