    WE HAVE SOME TRADES TO ANNOUNCE.

    In what was a very eventful week, the boys started by breaking down a great 4-1 run of Oilers hockey in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly (08:26).

    Then the elephant in the room, the news that the Oilers acquired G Tristan Jarry, F Sam Poulin and D Spencer Stastney (28:53). They discussed Jarry's fit, the departure of Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak, reminisced on the memories of those two and ultimately what it means for the team.

    Keeping up with the National, there was a major blockbuster in the Minnesota Wild acquiring Ellen's son D Quinn Hughes from the Vancouver Canucks (51:10). They discussed what led to the move, the return for Vancouver and what the future holds for the Hughes brothers. They also touched on the Olympics news as well as a look at the pathetic St. Louis Blues.

    Closing out the show, Nolan had a quick game of "15 words or less" for Myles (1:03:19).

    We promise this is the last long break and hopefully the Oilers promise to stop losing hockey games.

    The boys started off with some talk about people's year-end music lists on their various streamers before jumping into what was the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the last 10 games including the 4-0 victory over Seattle, the ass-whooping by the Stars and the Wallstedt shut-out (10:00).

    Then they dove into what was the elephant in the room of Oilerville - the goaltending. They discussed the numbers, the affect it's having on the team and what they could maybe do to upgrade (39:55). Moving on from the goaltending, they talked about the prospects that whose stock is currently up including Quinn Hutson, Tommy Lafreniere and more.

    For the second straight year, the Oilers defeated the Stars in the conference final and are taking on the Panthers for hockey's ultimate prize and of course, you know your boys had a preview waiting.

    This week, after some reflection on the history of the team and the show, the boys dove into the series against the Stars, including the horrendous game 1 collapse, the domination of games 2-4, the Hyman injury, DeBoer's criticism of Jake Oettinger and more (07:58).

    Then, after much anticipation and excitement, they previewed the upcoming Stanley Cup Final versus the Florida Panthers including a look at the numbers, the personnel and the tactical matchup (36:25) before finishing off with a prediction.
