It is February 29, 2024. It is Leap Day! And Kyle ls bringing to you his very dear friend, Sam Hyde. She has been friends with Kyle for more than five years and together they are sitting down to talk about Leap Day... AKA the day that doesn't exist.

Kyle and Hyde talk about all the specs of Leap Day and what the world has thought about this day for centuries. They talk about how leap years came to be. They also talk all about the proverbs, superstitions, and traditions surrounding this day; most of them having to do with women actually being treated like human beings for the day, since it really doesn't exist.

Kyle is proud to introduce the audience to the one friend he has that might love classic television sitcoms more than he does. Danielle Soto is a prolific writer, comedian, and podcast host that hails from Boston and now lives in Los Angeles. And she happens to be one of the world's foremost Golden Girls experts. She has a fantastic podcast called "Dr. Cheesecake" in which she welcomes her guests to the show and they tell her a problem they might be having in their life and she will prescribe an episode of The Golden Girls that will make it all better.

Kyle met Danielle in 2022 and they instantly forged a bond over their encyclopedic knowledge of all things classic television: From Lucille Ball to Norman Lear and beyond!

For the entire month of February, Kyle has been spotlighting historical figures for Black History Month, but today, he is spotlighting two modern trailblazers in the world of entertainment.

April Denise Kimble is a writer, comedian, and Golden Girls enthusiast since birth. She mines The Golden Girls for all of the black representation that can be found, and also looks for the ways the show stands as an ally for the community. She also holds the show accountable for its shortcomings with grace and class.

Aaron Scott is a Pittsburgh-based artist who rose to legend status with his transcindent rendition of The Golden Girls theme song. It instantly went viral and has helped redefine what it means to love The Golden Girls in the 21st century.

Kyle's best friends, Michelle and Flo, are joining him in a follow-up episode to last week's episode. He had more questions and about the trip and he wanted to dive a little deeper into the parts that he found so interesting.

In this episode, the trio discuss life in a small village in the south of France and how things are similar to life in the United States, and also how things are very different.

Later Kyle returns to his roots of being an enormous Disney nerd when they discuss the differences between the OG Disneyland parks and Disneyland Paris. Flo surprised Michelle with a trip to Disneyland Paris while they were on their month-long trip to France.

Friends of the show, filmmaker Florent Cornillac and makeup artist Michelle Cassel. who happen to be in a long-term relationship, took an international trip around the world for the first time. They have been together since 2019, but Flo has taken his beloved to his hometown of montmiral in the South of France.

After they had been in France for a while, Michlle's parents joined them for some time in the South of France and then the four of them traveled to Paris to explore the city of lights. After Père & Mère Cassel flew back to Baltimore from Paris, Flo & Mich returned to Montmiral to finish up their trip.

They left for this trip on Christmas Day 2023 and they returned on January 23, 2024. And we are unpacking their nearly-month-long trip of a lifetime! Join us next week for part II of this fantastical trip of a lifetime.

Some people come into our lives and it feels like they have somehow always been there. That is Andrew Hodge for Kyle. Andrew is one of those people that seems to exude artistic charisma that is not only infectious, but also incredibly accessible. Andrew is a celebrated actor and dancer, and he is on the eve of launching several thrilling writing projects that will send his incredible influence in the arts into new directions where new audiences are sure to fall in love with his work.

Kyle and Andrew have been mistaken for one another many times, and at this point it is more of an endearing quality for both of them, rather than one they try incessantly to clear up. His jovial spirit and his unique way of seeing everyday things and hearing mundane fodder will leave you wishing you could be friends with him as well.

Ethan is back! Kyle Has invited Ethan to the podcast again! For the first time since discussing their breakup, Kyle has invited is best friend Ethan to come a sit down for a friendship check-in. They talk all things friendship in the last year, what Ethan really feels about Kyle's relationship with "Robert," and the moment they both knew that their partnership was truly over. As candid as they have ever been, these two best friends don't miss a beat in their first on-air conversation of 2024.

Isaac Robinson-Smith has been a big surprise in Kyle's life in 2023. They've known of one another since 2022, but it was in the middle of 2023, after having both been on the invite list of many parties, and having five-minute conversations over cocktails, they decided to make the friendship official. And the friendship was instant thoughtfully tender. Now, Kyle is introducing this bright and vivacious new friend to the podcast audience.

In this episode Kyle and Isaac talk about how they met, what they are planning for 2024, and they even discuss Isaac's fascinating career as a voice-over actor. They even go deep into what a successful career in Hollywood means on the grander scale.
