Today on Let There Be Talk, we’re diving into three things I could talk about all day: stand-up comedy, the magic of songwriting, and the nine greatest albums of all time.

First, we’re talking about what it really means to go all in when you choose stand-up comedy. This isn’t something you can halfway commit to. It takes years of work, a lot of sacrifice, and the willingness to get out there and fail until you figure it out.

Then we’re getting into songwriting. How does somebody come up with a melody, a lyric, or a riff that sticks with you for the rest of your life? There’s something pretty incredible about how music can connect with you on a level that nothing else can.

I am currently hooked on 4 new songs. Queens OF the Stone Age "Insignificant Other" Kacey Musgraves "Dry Spell" Kings Of Leon "My Whole World" and Kurt Vile " Chance To Bleed"

And finally, we’re tackling a question every music lover has an opinion on: What are your nine greatest albums of all time? Not just the records you love, but the ones that changed your life and helped shape who you are.

All that and a whole lot more today on Let There Be Talk. Let’s get into it!

Today on Let There Be Talk, I’m sitting down with a true thrash metal legend, the one and only Dave Mustaine of Megadeth.

Dave has lived one hell of a life, from helping shape the sound of heavy metal to surviving some serious battles along the way. Today, we’re getting into his new book,"In My Darkest Hour" his fight with cancer, the guitars and amps that have shaped his sound, and the history of thrash metal.

If you know anything about me you know I think that "Peace Sells" is one of the greatest Thrash Metal records of all time so I was really fired up to have him on the show after 13 years of trying.

This is a great conversation with one of the most influential guitar players and songwriters in metal history.

Dave Mustaine, today on Let There Be Talk.

Thank You

Welcome back to another episode of Let There Be Talk!

Today I'm covering a little bit of everything. I’m talking about my recent stand-up comedy experience in Lawrence, Kansas, I’m also digging into the new album from The Temperance Movement, Which I absolutely love and can't recommend enough.

I also Dive into some big news out of the metal world, with Ian Hill retiring from Judas Priest after decades of holding down the low end for one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time.

And then we’re getting into something that’s always fascinated me: people who collect antiques and spend their lives accumulating things they believe are valuable, only to find out that nobody really wants them.

Enjoy this one my friends and thank you.
