A massive offseason news episode covering both the NHL and NBA.

I break down why I think Ottawa is actually better off long term, why I don't see Tkachuk as a true number one on a championship roster, and why this fits the Panthers perfectly.

Then a run through of NHL offseason news and notes: the Oilers handing out contracts to Connor Murphy and Jason Dickinson with very different grades from me, Bobby McMann signing in Seattle and what it says about the direction of the Kraken, a genuinely interesting trade between Buffalo and San Jose involving Michael Kesserling, and Colorado moving Ross Colton to Nashville in a deal that makes sense for both sides.

On the NBA side, Oklahoma City trades Aaron Wiggins to Atlanta in a move that has almost nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with the tax bill. And the NBA Offseason Preview series continues with the Southeast Division, Washington with the number one pick, Miami's Giannis speculation, Charlotte building on a fun season, Orlando's fit issues, and Atlanta looking for that missing piece at the top of the roster.
