    Oct 7 2026

It was a good weekend for soccer in Utah as both Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals came away with three points at home, and after some of the results we’ve had to talk about lately, we’re more than happy to enjoy this one.

Then we turn to the Royals and a much-needed result of their own, the players who stepped up, and what this team continues to show even as the season winds down.

We also catch up on the latest club news, look ahead to the Royals taking on Louisville and RSL facing Philadelphia, and make our predictions for what comes next.

  • Episode 11.5- Mid-Week Miami Messi Minisode
    Apr 21 2026

Real Salt Lake has a mid-week heavyweight in the Fortress, and we had to jump back into the Boot Room for a Miami minisode.

In this episode, we look ahead to RSL vs. Inter Miami CF on Wednesday night at America First Field. RSL enters the match at 5-1-1 with 16 points, riding home momentum and chasing a seven-match unbeaten run. Miami comes to Utah at 4-1-3 with 15 points, bringing the spotlight, the stars, and yes, the Messi factor.

We talk about whether RSL can treat this match like a statement game instead of a spectacle, how much the short turnaround matters, whether Pablo Mastroeni rotates or rides the hot hand, and what it would mean nationally if RSL keeps its perfect home start alive.

RSL is hot. Miami brings the spotlight. America First Field should be loud.

    Who keeps the momentum?
