 Thunder's Mouth Theatre are delighted to present: a whole new comic drama of the audio fiction variety, to be broadcast via the podcast medium. "Baked Off!" follows the lives of a group of would-be home-bakers based in England and Scotland, who meet up for a regular online baking class under the tutelage of a retired Australian chef in Brisbane, Australia. Over the course of eight fully scripted (20-30 minutes) episodes, we learn about their lives, work and family relationships, as they are learning how to make sourdough bread. Each week they strive, fail and strive better, supporting and challenging themselves and each other as their private lives take unexpected twists and turns.

    Introducing some of the characters who occupy the world of 'Baked Off!'. Duncan is a young IT freelancer in Edinburgh, Heather is his landlady. Julianna is a middle-aged ex-dancer who lives in Liverpool with her husband Ade, and son Sammy. Caroline runs an online cookery class, and she has invited her husband's Australian godmother, an elderly, reluctantly retired Michelin Starred chef, to teach the class. Duncan, Julianna and Margot prepare for the first class!     Thunder's Mouth Theatre presents "Return of the Bread", a crossover episode in which characters from our two podcast, "Am I Old Yet?" and "Baked Off! Live Laugh Loaves" meet up in Helen's favourite Cheese Shop Cafe in south London, where cafe owner Ilse is getting ready for the lunch time trade. It's been a quiet morning so far, but things are about to hot up when the participants of Caroline's online cookery class arrive from various parts of the United Kingdom to meet up with their tutor Margot, who is about to fly in from Australia for a visit. The cast was, in order of appearance: Flloyd Kennedy as Ilse, Helen and Margot; Wendy Lap as Rosemary and Katie; Erika Sanderson as Susie and Juliana; Andrea Richardson as Caroline, Christopher McDougall as Duncan, Karim Kronfli as Pierre and Roy R Carruthers as Freddie.
