About this listen

'I saw what you did'

New to Singapore and escaping a bad break up back in the UK, Tamsin’s attempts to settle in to her new surroundings are quickly disrupted when her building's speaker system crackles into life and an anonymous voice fills her glossy apartment.

Things had been going well until her welcome drinks, a night that ended with her boss incapacitated in her bathroom. Although Tamsin will swear it was an accident, from the adjacent high-rise things looked altogether rather different.

As the intercom messages become ever more demanding and Tamsin’s office co-conspirator Alex becomes increasingly frantic, an eagle eyed detective joins the case. Can Tamsin stay one step ahead of them all? It wouldn’t be the first time she’s been underestimated....

Written by Chris Brandon and executive produced by Jed Mecurio, Zoetrope stars Daisy Ridley as Tamsin and Jason Tobin as Alex alongside a full cast.

I really enjoyed this story particularly the actors and the sound effects.

I hope there’s another series or follow up.

Excellent Drama

Ha. That... That was... That was freaking awesome. Daisy Ridley is a gift to this world. Saying that, I found myself absolutely in love with all the characters, the way they were voiced over. The respective performance blew me away.
What a gripping, exiting experience... Ill be listening to this again.

What a fantastic, truly immersive experience...

This is a decent listen, excellent performances and production. However I cannot give more than 3* because none of the characters are easy to engage emotionally with or care about what happens to them. They are all self centred, unpleasant and somewhat one dimensional. As a result, my engagement as a listener was seriously limited.

Decent but not stellar

Enjoyed the sound design and acting, Daisy gives a very good performance as do the rest of the cast. The story is very entertaining but I think it may have dipped a little here and there and the ending left me wondering what would happen following on, as I felt it tied up enough but yet left a few things unresolved. That said, would recommend and definitely worth the investment. Hope to see further releases in future.

Very enjoyable programme
