Violet and Alice’s December road trip is definitely a trial by transport as they set out to deliver the perfect Yule log for the Solstice celebration. This cross-state drive commemorates twenty years of sapphic bliss and three hundred thousand miles on their Subaru Outback named Bess. What happens between home and Aunt Eunice’s house is a romantic comedy of errors. Sit back and enjoy this Planes, Trains, and Automobiles-style adventure to deliver the perfect Yule log for Winter Solstice.

I really enjoyed the prequel 'Double Dyno', but this was disappointing. The story left so many unanswered questions about what and why things had happened in the proceeding 20 years. What has happened to EAG and the once inseparable friends ?
The story was pretty weak and once Alice and Violet got to Aunt Eunice's house nothing much happened then or after! I think Alice, Violet and friends deserved better from the author, at least the narration was good and our two MC's are still HEA !

Disappointing.
