This turned out to be a total waste of money. The book consists of 2.5 hours of inane, repetitive lists of points that are either stating the blindingly obvious or contain pseudoscientific, macho nonsense. Some of it is just wrong - eg the suggestion that cushioned trainers are a must for everyone - and some of it is contradictory. All these lists are packaged in American upbeat inanities and meaningless drivel. There are some good running guides out there, but this isn’t one of them.

Unbelievably awful
