Isabella Tugman did a great job of bringing out poor survivor Kendall's desperation to keep her brother Kevin safe and struggling with being the responsible one now her parents have succumbed to the virus, her perspective gives a fascinating insight into the partially transformed monsters she encounters. Its understandable how she turns so bitter in World of Rot after seeing the things shes survived.

I really enjoyed this book, and couldn't put it down. It was fast paced and action packed with some surprising plot twists and great characters. I really liked the monsters, it was a nice change of pace from zombies!
