I really enjoyed this instalment, it was nice to get a different characters perspective. There were some surprising plot twists and love the references to "Tremor's", can't wait to see what happens next.

Listened to this almost immediately after world of blood (which although World of Misery is the 1.5 novella about Kendall, the surprise that she was still alive was a nice narrative change of pace) Andra and her survivors are still surviving in the apocalypse, noticing a lot of strange occurences coinciding with the monsters now roaming the streets, when her stubborn brother Gray gets himself in trouble, they have to go save him, only to discover that not all survivors share that "stick together" mentality humanity facing extinction should really have.

Really enjoyed the book definitely worth a listen.
