The techniques for dealing with anger were extremely useful and I will definitely use them in the future when I feel my blood start boiling. But what really struck me were the stories of people who dealt with manipulators who caused them to go into emotional rages. It was so helpful to know that I am not alone in my feelings of rage, especially when it comes to people who purposely try to manipulate you into getting angry.

I think everyone wishes they could handle their emotional outbursts when anger starts boiling up inside of them, or at least know of several situations they should have handled differently. This book provides some amazing techniques for reducing the level and frequency of those outbursts. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who struggles with anger management or wants to better understand how to deal with it. I have to also mention that the narrator did a fantastic job of performing this audiobook and made it a joy to listen to.

This book seems so apropos for today's culture, which seems to be filled with people who are angry. It certainly strikes a chord with me and what I sometimes wrestle with. No one is immune. I really liked how the author started the book by defining and helping to understand the complexity of anger and how it manifests. It is more tangled than we realize, which is why this book is so needed today. My favorite chapter is the one regarding developing good communication skills...which is so highly challenging considering how anger can often just take over our logical processing. Great book!
