Just when you thought the series couldn’t get any better, it does! Excellent story telling both by the writer and narrator. Brilliant.

Engaging book from start to finish as young King Henry develops his role as the new leader of England. Sir Thomas’s family grows as does his stature with turning rebellious barons towards the king

I love all the fighting the narrator is amazing I love how they’ve put it in real history the only bit I would change is at the end because Alfred was my favourite character and I wanted to see him be the next warlord I was nearly crying but amazing book 10/10 recommend
