The Story:

The artful perspective changes from Legionaries to humans showcasing the life on a legion vessel is masterful and provides a sense of scale and mortality previously lacking 40k stories. The performances were incredible, capturing the souls of the characters and their turmoil, evoking the nuances of different cultures all trying to survive the horrors of the universe.

as usual you will be left wanting more, the voice acting is brilliant. Well worth a read along with the rest in the series

I'm a huge Night Lords fan, gotta say that first. But wow, Aaron Dembski-Bowden really catches the feel of the night lords. And even though they're pretty evil, he makes them very loveable.
After listening to all three books, I'm now left with an empty feeling in my body because it was so good!
