The writing is a bit ropey in places. The story was ok, but the relationship between Rain and Alcura was all over the place. I know they are in love and stuff, but she is stubborn and doesn't appear to think things through or talk to anyone about her problems. Not sure if I will read the next book.
Narration was good though.
