A fantastic depiction of the biblical character. The characters sharing their thoughts abd struggles really bring them to life and make them relatable. can't wait to read the next one.

The story of Tamar's determination to do the right thing and her hunger to know and serve the living God is inspiring. I was 23 years old when i first read this story. I'm 35 now and planning to name my next daughter after Tamar. it's not an easy story to listen to but God also challenges us to be the best parents we can and set an example.

it's also encouraging to know God's plan for us isn't necessary linked to our short comings. God has great plans for us even if we are here normal people.

Tamar's story along with Redeeming love is my favorite work from F. Rivers.
