Summary

Cobi Mayson knows exactly who Hadley is to him the moment he sees her for the very first time. That doesn’t mean it will be easy for him to convince her to take a chance on him.

Hadley Emerson knows she could fall hard and fast for a guy like Cobi. A man who seems to show up every time she needs him, but she knows better than to just hand over her heart.

Knowing his future with Hadley is on the line, Cobi begins to tie their lives together. As the invisible rope that connects them tightens and things between them heat up, an unknown threat emerges threatening to to take away their happily ever after and send them both into darkness.

Great story

I'm not that far into the story, but I'm already loving the Mason vibe. I also love tobias king as a narrator, I actually always do. The Mason stories however really do require a female narrator as well. Tobias king's voice is so low (really fantastic to listen to when narrating a male), he really can't do a female voice. It just distracts from the story. Please ad a female narrator.

Why go back to just 1 Narrator?

Let me start off by saying I am a HUGE Aurora Rose Reynolds fan. If she were to write 1000 Mayson books, I would buy them all. I always looked forward to her books on audio, but after 10 perfect narrations with 2 narrators she has gone back to having just 1 narrator. The suspension of disbelief is really hard when all of your characters sound the same. If the next audiobook is again only 1 narrator, then I will likely stick to just buying all of her books and not the book and the audio. I do have to say that I think that Tobias King did a great job. He did a great job narrating all of the male characters. I would definitely buy another audiobook narrated by him. So, if you are not someone who has my particular hang up about there being only 1 narrator on a 2 POV book, then I can definitely recommend this one.

Cobi Mayson is a great character. In the first set of Until books, where we first meet Cobi's parents, we don't get to know him very well like we did with July and Jax. Turns out he is a football jock with a yearning for public service. Army then hometown cop. This is something else I love about ARR's books, not everyone needs to be a billionaire to live a happy life. Hadley (the heroine) had a difficult upbringing that makes it difficult to accept Cobi's affections and attention. It was a solid story that did NOT make my eyes role with the whole ...seriously? That story line again vibe. I am very close friends with a couple of social workers, and they have experienced some of the situations that Hadley did, so the story felt very true.

Looking forward to December's book! I will definitely be buying the book, but audiobooks with 1 narrator when there are 2 POVs (of different genders) are just something I don't general buy anymore.

Another Mayson bites the dust

Cobi Mayson, police officer and all around good guy...meets injured Hadley at a crime scene...and he just knows that she’s The One. Follow this pair as they navigate Hadley’s childhood and threats on Hadley, to get their HEA.

Book is great narration was not.

I love this series and have all the other audio books. But just like until harmony it’s only one narrator. I liked him for the guy parts but it was not very good from the female POV. I wish they kept it 2 different narrators when they did this it sounds sooooo much better with 2 people not just 1.

I DO NOT LIKE THE NARRATOR

I LOVE this series!! I have the whole series on my kindle, then I bought them to listen to at work. However the narrator's for Ashlyn's book and Cobi's book are HORRIBLE!!! In this book, he makes Hadley sound suicidal. When she doesn't sound depressed, she sounds like a little girl. Again I LOVE THIS SERIES but the two books I mentioned have been ruined by the narration.

Tobias King, yuck

I am irritated that I paid for narration from a guy with a speech impediment ... And I love gay guys, but it's hard to escape into an alpha male when sweet girlishness is pouring from the male reading this book.

Amazing story

Until Cobi is part of Aurora Rose Reynolds fabulous world about the Mason family. From the first moment Cobi sees Hadley he knows she is his forever. The things is she isn't so convinced and worries about getting to close to him. With every chance he gets he is determined to show her he is the man for her. Can they get the HEA they truly want or is their just to much pain in the past for it ever to happen. The Narration is amazing and adds so much to the story. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The story was great, but the reader...

I loved the the story. Cobi was very intense and Hadley was just a little on the nervous side but together they were entertaining and funny.
I didn’t really care for the reader. His voice range is very limited. I prefer when you use two readers like you have in your other books. I don’t do many reviews, but I absolutely love the Mayson Family and the Underground Kings books. Thanks for the great prose and for sharing the wonderful Mayson Family.

I absolutely love Aurora rose Reynolds books. I will buy the kindle version and buy the audibles. But this particular narrator is just plain awful. Please do not use this narrator again.
