About this listen

Now that April Mayson has decided to put all her energy into her career and living her best life instead of romance, things are better than ever. Little does she know that her world is about to be turned upside down when she’s asked to help out a family friend, Maxim Kauwe. Now she’s dealing with a man unlike any she’s ever met before, her ex — a famous musician who’s decided he wants her back — and a possible serial killer. With all this drama suddenly swirling around her, she’ll have to figure out if she’s brave enough to trust Maxim with her heart — and maybe even her life.

There isn’t a member of the family I haven’t liked and all of their love interests are likeable too. The story is sweet, spicy and we got a murder mystery to keep us on the edge of our seat too (I totally clocked the culprit the very first time they appear). Narration was great too

Time for April to get her hea

im a little bummed. I love auroras books, especially the until series. Unfortunately some of the last few books that have come out on audible are narrated by horrible narrators. The female narrators in this book also narrated until tallon. The thing is, shes not a horrible narrators, its just that her voice absolutely doesnt match that of the characters. the characters are all young feisty women in their 20s and early 30s. the narrator is much older than that and its evident in her voice. its distracting me from the story. In the oast the narrators were much better.

please invest in different narrators
