Summary
In the middle of the night, the Sisters are awakened by an alarm bell. Suspecting intruders, they run to the compound, only to see Myra and Charles rushing towards a helicopter. Within seconds, the two have flown away, with no explanation besides a mysterious note from Charles: I've had an unexpected personal emergency. I don't know when or if I will return.
Still reeling from this turn of events, the Sisters receive an urgent call from retired justice Pearl Barnes, who's just rescued fourteen pregnant teenagers who belong to a highly secretive polygamy sect.
Now, with Charles and Myra missing, the remaining members of the Sisterhood must rally together to save the girls. This time, the Sisters are doing it by themselves - and everything is on the line...

Excellent chick-lit!
So here goes a 73 year old grandfather reviewing a novel classified as chick-lit! Under the Radar is an outstanding novel. This is the 3rd novel I've listened to in the very successful 26 Book (so far) Sisterhood series by Fern Michaels. The books are about the adventures of 8 middle age and older women who along with Charles Martin address some of society's problems. Under the Radar is about freeing pregnant early teen girls from a secretive polygamy cult. Actually, the Sisterhood goes much further than just freeing the girls.
This is a well written and narrated novel. Maybe the feats of the ladies are a bit over the top, but it does not detract from the very worthy story.

The naked truth behind polygamy
This book is timely and eye opening about polygamy sects. As usual the sisterhood gets the bad guys, but this time storyline is disjointed and somewhat bumpy. This book did give a new and better light behind the polygamy practices and was enlightening to hidden agendas in these sects. The ending was not an ending and the story seemed to just stop mid-story. Not one of the better sisterhood adventures, but still entertaining.

under the radar
Good but too short. Thought there should have been a little more about Charles and his son but maybe that is to come in the next book.
