A zoo keeps dangerous things inside. No one planned for the zombies that surround its fences.

When the dead begin to rise across Pittsburgh, the city's zoo becomes a fortress—but it could just as easily become a deathtrap.

The bridges are gridlocked. The rivers impassable. Neighborhoods fall block by block.

Zookeeper Imogen faces an impossible choice: abandon the endangered Iberian lynxes she's devoted her career to saving, or risk everything to get them out. Mike, who knows the city's rugged terrain better than anyone, needs to find a way through the chaos to reach the only family he has left.

Thrown together by the outbreak, they must navigate a collapsing city where the animals are loose, the dead are relentless, and every decision could save the group—or tear it apart.

Getting out of Pittsburgh was never easy. Now it might be impossible.

Perfect for fans of Rhiannon Frater and D.J. Molles, and readers who love relentless survival, grounded characters, and zombie stories where the human cost matters as much as the body count.

wasted 1 credit! preview wasn't too bad but when the narrator voiced main female character it sounded like the ladeez from little Britain. when I heard her sister was called Araminta I gave up. story was a bit protracted where it didnt have to be but obviously I only listened to about 30 mins.

dreadful narration.
