Summary

We've been taught that awakening is difficult, teaches Adyashanti, and that to wake up from the illusion of separation takes years. But all it really takes is a willingness to look into the depths of our experience here and now. In this refreshing "non-meditation" session, Adyashanti invites you to let go of all techniques, even the concept of yourself as a meditator, and just let everything be as it is.

Sounds True Practices are short downloadable audio sessions selected from our most popular courses. Affordably priced and ideal for beginners, they're a powerful way to use energy healing, guided imagery, meditation, and other proven practices at home or on the go. Put them on your smartphone, MP3 player, tablet device, or computer...and start experiencing their benefits today.

This session is excerpted from Adyashanti's True Meditation, available as a three-CD audio or in book-and-CD format.

My favourite guided med

I’ve used this guided non-meditation often daily over the past several years. Its direct guidance into the non-dual state of completely allowing every thing to be exactly as it is, combined with Adyashanti’s voice, speaks to my middle and gets me there every time. Despite its simplicity, it continues to unfold the profundity of this practice as time goes on.

Adyashanti seems like the real deal.

This is well worth listening to. Gently pushes you into the heart of what meditation is all about. Relinquishing imagined control... It ends with the "Audible hopes you enjoyed this program" message which normally I would have found annoying but after the meditation I just found it amusing.

Trust this guy.

What he says is the Truth that many of us know but can’t put a finger on. He brings narration to that perfectly without contradiction or falseness. The most natural & awake teacher of our age.

My 'go to' meditation.

I've been meditating on and off for about 30 years now. This meditation along with Joseph Goldstein's Big Sky Mind are the ones I use regularly.

A guide back to your true self

A wonderful meditation guiding you to letting go of striving towards certain results, or wanting things to be different and relinquishing your thoughts of how it should be and feel (to meditate). The mediation gives you a wonderful taste of, how it would feel to live your life from an inner state of accepting your thoughts and feelings.
