Recovering is an arduous journey that calls for as much support as you can get, and this book is a wonderful companion in the recovery process. The author explores the five action steps to help foster the healing process, and I love how the structure of the book is curated to give a detailed look into the steps. The author is empathetic, and the narration well done. This book tackles a hard life process well.

Dealing with toxic relationships is not a simple problem to deal with. You would definitely need some guidance and a roadmap to follow. This audiobook does a great job of doing that. The narration is also really good and doesn't get boring and monotone like some other audiobooks. Overall I would recommend it!

This outstanding book provides useful techniques and resources. The strategies and insights on recognizing unhealthy behaviors and the practical measures toward self-recovery were extremely helpful. Overall, the guide was highly beneficial.
In addition, each chapter of this audiobook is thoughtfully organized and provides doable suggestions that can be implemented to facilitate the healing process. The emphasis in this guide placed on the seemingly paradoxical notion that accepting responsibility is the best way to guard oneself from being manipulated in the future was one component that struck me as being on an entirely different level. Those looking for a calmer and more independent future should look into this book.

This was a deeply compassionate and soothing listen. It has been a while now since I was able to step out of a toxic partnership with a narcissist, and although the therapy has been extremely beneficial, having tools like this book at hand are incredibly helpful to keep your head up with you hit low points during your healing journey. It is a lovely, informative listen that I certainly recommend.
