I know a person right now that was trapped in a toxic marriage who I serve as a shoulder to cry on when things are really going bad. She was frustrated, angry, anxiety-driven, and confused as she struggled each day to put up with her husband's constant verbal abuse and narcissism due to his painful childhood. I have told her many times to leave him and start anew again which she finally did.
