What line would you cross for the one you love?
When the body of a man is found in his remote, isolated home, DI Tom Janssen and his team struggle to understand what motive there could be to murder such an inoffensive, seemingly placid local character.

The man lived alone, was well known in the community but kept his distance from others leading a haphazard way of life. What secrets did he hide in his private life that might have been worth killing for?

As the team are about to understand, even the most nondescript of people can exist in a world darker than most of us will ever see...

Set within the mysterious beauty of coastal Norfolk, this fast-paced British detective novel is a dark murder mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end when the final shocking twist is revealed.

To Die For is the ninth novel in the Hidden Norfolk series of thrillers from the million-copy bestselling British crime writer, JM Dalgliesh, the author of the Dark Yorkshire series. Perfect for fans of LJ Ross, JD Kirk, Angela Marsons, Simon McCleave and Damien Boyd.

It was a great read and I felt myself being drawn into the plot as the storyline developed. More please.

This is an interesting book and for a change Tamara plays a key role in solving the crime.

Jolly good read

Stories are easy listening and enjoyable but, although I have had to get used to the narrator, I would not rate him. His voices and accents are very limited and nothing like one might expect in Norfolk. All the characters merge through voice into 3 categories of male, female and child with little or no distinction within each group.

Why this narrator?

I wasn't going to buy this book when I saw who the narrator was. but it was on sale.I ought to have gone with my initial thoughts - why is the narrator used? Really peculiar inflections and accents, that hindered my ability to lose myself in the story. I really would like to know this narrator is being used?

No other narrator

More storylines about the police and rather pathetic storylines about the murders unfortunately. Not worth the money even for a credit. Annoying as I'm working through the whole series.

Not ad good as the others in the series
