I really love the world-building in this book. The kingdoms, political conflicts, and dangerous landscapes create a setting that feels alive and constantly evolving. The pacing of the story was really effective. It didn’t feel rushed and things progressed naturally. Watching the characters grow through hardship, victories, and unexpected setbacks makes them feel authentic. The author does a great job of balancing humor, determination, and emotional depth. Overall great read.

An awesome sequel that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I loved watching Maya get stronger and deal with all the political drama. The underground Shaded Quarter was super cool, and her mentor Sable is still the best. The audiobook moves really fast and doesn't get slowed down by confusing stats. At just over 10 hours, it’s a quick, fun listen that any LitRPG fan will love.
