Yogi wannabe read this - you need to pay rent!

Very user friendly instruction on how to create your own little space in very crowded world of yoga and fitness. After reading over 20 Entrepreneur- like books i was very familiar on every concept mentioned in the book. Author gather and recycle Ideas from other most read titles and put them together creating sort of blueprint for yoga business. Loved the chapters about how to build relationships with students and how to work with other yogis. If you never read any book related to Business, Online marketing or entrepreneurship and you are spiritual yogi you mind find this title a bit overwhelming . This title is about YOGA BUSINESS not about Yoga philosophy . I can say 9/10 - have to take 1 for talking about talking about google search optimization as toward the end got too technical.

Excellent resource for all yoga teachers

This book provides a comprehensive overview of the ethics and business of yoga. It is an excellent resource for yoga teachers at every stage in their career.

As a yogi currently in a basic teacher training program, I appreciated that Darren encouraged readers to reflect upon their own practice, passion, and vision as a foundation to build their business.

In a "world is hungry for self-awareness," The Yogi Entrepreneur guides aspiring teachers to share their practice with their communities.

Helped Me Become a Yoga *Professional*

I highly recommend the Yogi Entrepreneur for all yoga teachers serious about making yoga teaching their full-time gig. Reading this book helped me begin to take myself seriously as a yoga professional. I knew I was a good teacher, I knew I have a passion for yoga, but I didn't know that I was missing an entrepreneurial spirit for making yoga how I earn my living. A lot of teachers struggle with yoga as a business (it can even feel difficult charging money for a practice that is so close to your heart). This book is filled with stories, anecdotes, and practical tools and resources that inspire and then point you in the right direction with homework to get you going. I'll return to it again as I put together workshops and retreats, travel as a yoga instructor, and simply for inspiration when I need to remember that I can ethically and sustainably make a living teaching yoga.
