I listened to this book in one day! Once I started I couldn’t stop. The narrator, Kate Zane has an amazing talent, capturing emotion from the story and presenting it in a raw, believable manner which is so gripping that you feel what the characters are feeling. Really impressive. Storyline was well written. Can’t wait for the next one!!!

I enjoyed this second novel with Alyssa, but I can't get used to the narration, the male characters sound dreadful.

Loved the first book in this series, and this the second one didn’t disappoint. Exciting from beginning to end with characters who the reader/listener can really care about. Very well narrated, but as a Brit the way the narrator pronounced the word ‘forward’ was disconcerting, and once heard the word seemed to appear frequently! But that’s a very minor point. Highly recommended book and series
