Drawn back to Narnia, Eustace Scrubb and his new friend Jill Pole are sent to rescue a captive prince. Critic reviews

“The magic of C.S. Lewis’s parallel universe never fades.” The Times

“When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness.” C S Lewis

Sublimely narrated by Jeremy Northam.
Laugh out loud moments thanks to Puddleglum.
Another glorious listen.

So sad there's only one more book to go.

The children had real characters, and forgot what they were supposed to do. Just enough magic to hold an excellent idea together.

One of the best Narnian stories.

Excellent reading of one of the most interesting of the Narnia chronicles. Jeremy Northam does not talk down to the listener, and has the ability to slide into the background so he becomes invisible in the world created by the story - perfect.

Very good reading
