Summary

The Nameless World Goes to War!

The necromancers have finally resumed their assault on the Allied Lands, sending a mighty army across the Desert of Death and into the Kingdom of Tarsier. Countless farms, villages, and towns have already been destroyed as the host makes its way northwards, striking deep into the kingdom's most vulnerable lands. Hundreds of thousands have been killed, thousands more will be killed when they are sacrificed for power. If the necromancers win the coming battle, it may be the beginning of the end.

When Sergeant Miles invites her to join the coalition force, Emily reluctantly accepts. The necromancers have to be stopped, even if it means taking time off from school to serve as the sergeant's apprentice. But with arguing aristocrats, reluctant soldiers, fearful civilians, shadows from her past, a dangerously-sane necromancer and treachery in the ranks, stopping the invasion may cost Emily her life.

Fantastic as always..

There is no doubt that Christopher writes an excellent story and Tavia tells the story excellently. Her voices fit the characters exactly how you would expect the character to sound. A great story line, not too complicated and easy to follow. when's the next one out?

Bitter Experience

Bitter experience and cold logic lead me to believe that I will continue with this series, despite the chill running up my spine caused by the grim knowledge that the writing is repetitive and hackneyed.

I love these books!!

All of the books are equally awesome. The magic is so well described and the pace is perfect, really keeps my attention. I always have a clear picture in my head of what's happening. I wish they would make a movie!

It's a great book!

I enjoyed a lot this book. The story is very rich, describe very well the soldiers rotine. Emily's saga is interesting, but I don't know to where the author will take the plot. It's a great book, and a wonderful series.

Sergeants Apprentice

This story as usual was well done, my congrats to Mr. Nuttall. I enjoyed the story and as usual the characters. I did wish for a slight change to certain parts but that’s normal, and nothing to be taken from the book.

The narration by Tavia Gilbert was very good as usual and sounded as intuitive as I’ve come to expect.

I look forward to the releases of these books as I throughly enjoy being Schooled in Magic.

The Serdeants Apprentice

I enjoyed this book it reveals more about a lot of the different people. And the importance that magic isn’t about the power and what ones gets out of it but about not being about yourself but the good one can do.
