One of the powerhouses of German automotive engineering, I feel that Mercedes possibly does not get enough respect when we talk about the Mt. Rushmore of cars. This iconic brand is responsible for many of the best vehicles on the road today as well as some unique innovations which don't get enough credit for. I liked the way this book weaved through the history of the company and highlighted some of the most iconic vehicles along the way,

I love cars, and I once wondered how those top-tier cars were designed and manufactured. The audiobook 'The Second Classic Car Series' satisfied my curiosity. From the early days of the factory, the founders and their ups and downs, the 1954 Gullwing, the 300 SL Gullwing, to the 2010 SLS AMG, the book brought me into the glorious history of Mercedes Benz. I have a much deeper appreciation of the wisdom and efforts behind the development of modern Benz models, and I believe every car lover will find this book engaging and inspiring. Highly recommended!
