Another great story from the homegrown sleuths! I do find the narration to be a bit depressing in all the books. but other than that I really love these wartime stories!

I have enjoyed this series. The Christmas Storyline was unique and the writers continued to develop the characters and their relationships. Hopefully there will be more!

Despite the fact this series is written by American Authors and is free on Audible for members, I have enjoyed it.
The characters may be broadly painted English wartime stereotypes but I have really liked them. In all honesty this falls into the not too challenging cosy crime genre and it definitely does that. Don’t expect any great insights or gritty crime drama but for light feel good stories with reasonably intriguing crime/thriller elements it’s good and after all it’s free
