Palm Sunday brings spring to Crofter’s Green and a deadly secret.

When a postal van crashes outside the Cozy Cup, Dorothy agrees to hold a registered parcel for the shaken driver. Minutes later, the parcel vanishes and the postman is found murdered.

The only clues are an address in London and a faint cipher that points back to St Mary’s Church.

As Alice, Blake, Harry, and Evie follow the trail, the Homefront Sleuths uncover a chilling wartime plot that could leave the village in ruins. With blackout-darkened church bells, a father’s fate hanging in the balance, and a wedding at risk, they must stop a ruthless local ring before the first bombs fall.

Narrated by the brilliant Iona Campbell, The Saint Mary’s Cipher is a charming, suspenseful wartime cozy mystery filled with clever clues, village warmth, and danger close to home.

Another enjoyable war time story. Well narrated, the characters are familiar now and likeable. Looking forward to the next book!

Interesting and easy to listen to.

I’ve really enjoyed all of these books and will listen to them again. I love all the characters and found myself really rooting for them when they were in tight spots. The insight into war time Britain woven into the stories is fascinating and the plots are fast and compelling. Iona’s narration really brings everything to life and indeed I think I would listen to anything she read. Well done and thank you to everyone for creating this brilliant audiobook

Cozy and historical. I can’t believe these are free

Love this series, excellent believable characters, good story lines and links to actual historical facts. Read beautifully too.

Great characterisation

So glad I saw this to add to my collection. I really enjoy this series, always so much going on, very interesting characters with drama and light relief. Such a change from the usual ‘cosy crime’. So looking forward to the next one.

Another great story.

I loved everything about this book and the rest of the series. Believable, engaging characters and storylines.
I would have given a perfect rating but I find it very irritating that books set in English towns or villages have the characters occasionally using American words. I don’t know if it is written like this, as I haven’t read the books, but if it’s something Audible add for their American readers PLEASE STOP… surely they would also find it interesting to find out the differences in language.
