So Gripping I feel part of the Journey

I couldnt have imagined anyone else narrating this fabulous series. Again Sean you pulled me in to every twist and turn and I held my breath at some points lol . I absolutely love the characters and how they came alive Kirkby, William and Bray's journey is sadly nearly at an end. So sad there is only one book left .. will need to find more from his work and hopefully Sean will be the story teller

Great post-apocalyptic series!

Kirby, Bray, and William continue their journey. This time they encounter 2 new groups, the clickers and the gifted. The gifted are like William. They have been affected by the stores and look like the twisted men, but they haven't changed. They are very smart and very old. Also like William, they can control the twisted men. The gifted have tech magic that the group has only heard of in stories. Their buildings actually have glass in all the windows. They have lights and fans. Things are finally looking good for Kirby, Bray, and William. Unfortunately, the gifted aren't what they appear to be and the group finds themselves in trouble once again.

This is book 3 of The Ruins. The Ruins is a continuation series of The Last Survivors. I highly recommend listening to that series first. Both are great! Sean Runnette narrates all of the books and does an excellent job! I'm looking forward to the last book. I'll be sad to see the series end.

❤️ Love this series!

I'm pleasantly surprised to hear we get one more book before the series ends! Yay!

As much as I enjoyed the "The Last Survivors" (Piperbrook/Adair) , I really appreciated how we were able to follow along with a few featured characters from those books, into this series. I felt I really got to see them grow and change during "The Ruins"

If you've got to book 3, than I don't need to explain any of the storyline - but let's just leave it at ..... book 3 is the start to an exciting and nail biting conclusion!

Please let our main characters live happily ever after Mr. Piperbrook!!!

Great listen

I have loved all the books in this series so far. It’s rare for a series to be so good from start to finish, especially with so many books. I look forward to the last book in the series but hate to see it end

*Buying snowberry for Bray*

I am amazed at how the author manages to keep this story alive and keep the reaper intrigued. I love this series and cannot take a break from it. After listening to “The Last Survivors” I immediately went to this sequel series and was elated to see that the storyline continues being engaging. The characters are easy to form an emotional attachment to and have very full personalities. The plot is well thought out and even in tough times the author managed to add a touch of humor. Definitely interested in reading further works!

Good but not as entertaining as the prequel

To sum up the whole series; Good follow up story but not as good nor original as the The Last Survivors. If the Ruins were boxed up into one purchase it would have been totally worth the credit but individually.... Perhaps not? Or the kind of title you may want to keep on the back burner if there is nothing else or while yo wait for one of your next new releases? Narration is awesome - 5 stars. Sean Runnette rocks. Some people say R.C.Bray for this genre, He's good, really good but IMHO Sean Runnette takes the crown.
