I particularly liked the way the advice is delivered through stories set in ancient Babylon rather than feeling like a dry personal finance textbook. Arkad’s journey from having very little to becoming wealthy makes the principles easy to understand and remember.
Listening to it also made me think about some of my own financial decisions over the years and how much difference a few consistent habits can make over a long period of time. Some of the language and ideas naturally feel old-fashioned, but the underlying principles haven't really changed.
A surprisingly enjoyable listen with practical lessons that are just as relevant today. Definitely worth listening to if you want to become better at managing, saving and growing your money.
