Good not great

I liked the book, and the narrator does a great job. My only dig would be, it took an entire book to barely move the story along. There were hours of characters doing little of nothing, and then a blip of story progression, until finally after 14 hours the author decides to move the story. Felt like I was in a washing machine, moving a lot, just going nowhere.

The plot is slowing

To a plodding pace. There's a lot of repetition of the same jokes and same conversation over and over again. It seems uninspired. I'm a third of the way through now, and I'll keep listening in the hope that it picks up.

Absolutely love this story!

This is such a good story! I've listened to it many times over, and still really enjoy it. This book is one of the 10 hour ones, so it's definitely worth the cost of purchasing/ downloading. (Sidenote: the 2nd and 4th books are only around 6 hours each, which is disappointing, even though they are great stories too.) It's a feel good series- meaning that it feels good to get sucked in to the characters and story line even though this is not your typical fairy tale, the humor is also very well written and well delivered. I think if you give these books a chance you will really enjoy them. <3

Non Stop Laughter

I loved the first book, the 2nd felt unfinished, and not to evolve the plot much but still overall ok, this book was a true Masterpiece! If you liked the first book, but felt the 2nd was lacking... give this one a try, you will be glad you did! I can’t wait for the 4th book to come to audible.

Nice Plot Twist!!!

So the previous two books have been decent, full of humor and refreshing where the fantasy world experience stuff is concerned. I will admit I found book two's ending was a bit lackluster and thus disappointing. I feel book three's ending was executed in a way that makes me want to listen to book four right now! I do love how things don't go our hero's way for a change and thus adds a bit of realism into the comedy. Great listen and I can't wait for more!!!

Interesting idea + very dumb main character

Like the idea, but main character is made too dumb.
Looks like he is not able to learn.
Repetition of the same errors is not making situation better.
Main character is getting out of death and life situation by sheer luck, always.
