Summary

Is anything worth dying for? Is a dragon worth dying for - even if she’s the mystical Golden Dragon?

It’s the question that Hooper must answer, and one which may well decide their ultimate fate.

The quest continues in Book Two, The Queen’s Vow as the Company of the Golden Dragon seeks a haven from Vay’s wrath. But there is no sanctuary. They are the hunted, the pursued. Outcast from all they know, they feel the heavy weight of the condemned just waiting for Death to write the last sentence in their book of life.

Incredible continuing story

I love dragon stories. This series has lots of good & bad dragons. There are giants & lots of wierd creatures too. There is lots of adventure, lots of strange things the humans have to experience. The reason Hooper is chosen as Golden Wing's rider is revealed. Lots of life lessons can be gained. There is lots that happens in this 2nd book. I loved having it read to me.

A great Sequel

Picking up right where book 1 finished, this sequel improves with more rounding out of all the characters, a lively, action-packed story and a stellar ending with still more room for a 3rd book. Our young protagonist is Finally maturing somewhat and making better decisions. Old secrets are revealed and line up with the back story and shows motivations of our villians. The narrator is still terrible, but I was able to ignore that aspect better this go around. So, great story marred only by the narration.
