Toe curlingly dreadful excuse of a poor attempt at a Brummy accent...story is engaging enough but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired.

I love the narrators voice. He epitomises Adam Green perfectly.. I like the continuity of the characters This book is so upto date it expresses exactly what is going on in the world presently and how peoples perceptions can a affect their views.

Adam Green will get very little sleep while the two cases he is involved in take placeIn

The first case sees him appointed junior barrister to one of Stag Chambers most successful KC. Their case is a young girl accused of murdering a famous British artist. However, it is the second case, helping his mentor defendi a young soldier of murder in the military courts of justice that truly fascinated me. The rules differ so much from normal courts.

I think that Rob Rinder is a brilliant author obviously able to call on his experience as a barrister.

The narrator did an outstanding job and kept me hanging onto his every word.

This series gets better and better

Rob Rinder does it again. The same characters and the same location give one a comfortable feeling. The plot develops at a rate that which allows the listener/reader to keep up! This narrative, like the previous ones, is compelling. An old-fashioned “who done it” with a few twists and turns.

Adam’s mother makes a welcome return and keeps the novel grounded. There is no sensationalism nor anything designed to trick the reader.

The narrator is excellent and in conclusion this is a very good read. I look forward to the next!
