I really enjoyed Riggs and Carlise story. A great steady pace and good storyline. A massive fan of Ryan West as a narrator along with Ava Erickson who both brought the characters to life. My first Susan Stoker novel and very enjoyable

Riggs “Chappy” Chapman is spending a couple weeks in his high mountain cabin. Hoping for quiet, calm and away from people. His peace is broken my a dog and lone woman called Carlise , who running from a stalker. These two find strength and help each other.

Did enjoy this story but I'm not sure if I will get the follow on story.I wish that when they have two narrators that they don't use them properly, male for male character and female for the female character.
On the story, I didn't guess who was the baddie.

I loved this book a perfect start to a new series I can’t wait for the next book perfect storyline and great cliff hanger the prince is next to get his true love

I like how loving and protective Riggs is but the dog is so smart and loyal
