I have been desperate for Grant and Deacon’s story since they first appeared on page. Their chemistry and connection has been electric since day one. Not only is team owner/ player completely forbidden but also a trope, despite me being an avid reader of sports romance, I have never read.
I loved that we started from the beginning when Grant was Deacon’s tutor before Deacon went to the NFL and Grant became a billionaire. Skip forward twelve years, we see Grant buying the Condors and little snippets of what’s been happening during the season until we get to present day (after Carter’s book and Jem’s book).
Grant and Deacon’s chemistry was scorching...blazing... incendiary! These two make dirty talking an art and I am here for it. How these two are so protective of one another, how much they know one another so well makes me speechless.
The Play is another sizzling hot MM sports romance that has all the classic Bolden magic of delicious steamy times, fun and heartfelt sweet moments that will leave you swooning over Deacon and Grant.
The best series finale I have ever read! What a roller coaster ride! There is nothing else to say except read this book! Also the SHOCK I felt in the bonus scene 🤯!
