A standalone story within the series. I have not read this series and to me it read as a prequel to this series so it was easy to follow and made me want to read the other books.
Darcy did a wonderful performance. He expressed all the emotions and brought the story to life. He gave all of the characters, not just the 2 MCs, their own distinct voice that suited each of them well so it made it easy to follow the story and it was a pleasure to listen to.

The audio narration was fantastic and really kept me engaged in the story from the start even though I haven’t read any other Condors books, so didn’t know any characters yet.
Our two MCs, Jonathan and Kieran, are instantly likable and their friendship very naturally develops into more, and I always love when characters have great communication (even via text!)
For a novella this had the perfect balance of spice, character development, and sweet moments.
