About a third of the book rehashes book 1 & 2. Whilst I get there may be a need to create a link, it is extremely frustrating to have the whole back story rehashed. Clumsily done, would have been far better to hint at the past and entice readers to go back and get books 1 & 2. Only on book three and am somewhat bored with the incredible, far fetched and repetitive storyline. Come on Blake you’ve done better, I feel cheated!

Frustrating!

Compared to the two previous books in the series, this one seems uninspired and "mechanical". It consists largely of recaps of the previous books and the personal interplay and interaction between characters - which were the strong points of the previous books - is replaced by your typical run-off-the-mill murder mystery.

If you've read the previous two, don't bother buying this one- You'll be disappointed.

Follow-ups are always difficult....

The series is feeling quite repetitive now. Seems like a regurgitation of book 2. The ending was just too passive in places and far fetched for me too.
