The Book felt like a reassuring chat rather than a preachy self-help lecture, and I appreciated how grounded and practical it was as an audiobook. The science bits (CBT, mindfulness and all that) are explained clearly without making you feel thick, and the short exercises actually fit into real life rather than some fantasy routine. I liked that the faith-based elements were gentle and optional so easy to skip past if that’s not your thing. That said, a few ideas do get repeated and the pace occasionaly slows, which I noticed more while listening than I might have reading.

This is a good book to listen to if you're feeling stressed or are scrambling your brain due to overthinking. It offers short daily practices which are practical and realistic to perform even with a hectic shcedule. The science are explained clearly so it's graspable, I personally liked the breathing exercises which helps calm the nervous system.
