wonderful book

I loved every minute of this book. I found it very inspirational thought-provoking and a wonderful way of looking at life and I may take onboard some of the things from this book, I would highly recommend if you're looking at starting a new way of thinking about life then this book is well worth a read or a listen.

Well rounded

I liked that this book wasn't bashing other diet protocols and didn't push any certain agendas. it was just sharing how centarians lived their lives.

Life changing

This tale of health and longevity was engaging and easy to listen to. I was carried away by the scenery and characters, so much so that by the end of the book I was calling myself a member of longevity village and could hear the voices of the centenarians sharing their wisdom with me. Thank you Dr Day for writing this book and thank you Joel Richards for narrating it so beautifully!

Well worth listening to and implementing!

This is a book that I will listen to several times. Since our health care system is actually a chronic disease management system, the information in this book is beneficial to achieving and maintaining optimal health.

The Longevity Plan: Seven Life-Transforming Lessons from Ancient China

9 chapters could easily have been condensed into 3. Some good information but spent way to long on trivial facts. And the voice recording absolutely drove me crazy. His reading is so fake and his voice was very annoying. Would have been SO much better if the doctor read it himself.

life changing

This book is inspiring and makes me want to change my life. in fact I have already taken considerable steps to creating a healthier life based upon the stories in this book. When the book ended I was disappointed there wasn't a more structured explanation of trials the Dr. has done, or how he has applied what he has learned scientifically with patients. I would love some real work case studies besides himself. I even went back to see if I had missed a chaoter, and then to see if there was a companion book with this information. But overall, inspiring book.
